
Hello my lovelies! Back for more I see! Today I’m bringing you a favorite of mine and the ‘Gram. You all loved this dress SO much, I was surprised at the response for a simple two piece outfit!
This raw silk from A Thrifty Notion (sold out) is indescribable in its wonder. It looks exactly how it is, scrumptious and rustic and pure silk gold. The fabric itself is slightly coarse in its texture as it is raw silk and not processed. The texture closely resembles burlap, so I had to line the camisole and the skirt with some cotton I found at Hobby Lobby so I wasn’t feeling like I was wearing corn husks, however the quality and the structure of the fabric make it a dream in addition to the beautiful stripes.
I paired this look with a blazer from H&M I got a while back (no longer in stores) and some simple DSW loafers. The star here though is my Baublebar drop earrings that give this anthro look a delicate feel. Pattern details below!
