On my IG post several days ago I spoke about how we compromise comfort for style, I questioned “why can’t we have both?”. Well this look definitely gave me that opportunity and I hope to create more looks that do the same thing.
This linen set is courtesy of fabric from A Thrifty Notion and it is a dream. Linen is such a fun fabric don’t you think? I know it wrinkles but I love that about it, because the wrinkles are so natural and easy on the eye. When it first came it was a tad stiff, but after a gentle wash, it eased up very nicely and drapes as a well worn garment. The McCall’s pattern is also well fitted. I made a size 10 with no alterations and it made my booty look fierce!
I paired this look with my mustard mules from Francesca’s (these are almost SOLD OUT but you can shop the clearance sale HERE) and some hot dark lipstick to give my vibe a more serious face. Deets below and tell me how you feel about linen in the comments! Thanks for reading!

This is such a gorgeous set! I’m very new to sewing but I’m kind of jumping in with linen right from the start because I need some summer wardrobe staples. I love it so much that I think it might be a while before I get tired of it.
