Hello all! So happy to be a part of the blog tour celebrating the Madrid Dress recently released by Coffee and Thread. Make sure to read all the way to the end for a special code!
Thank you Olga and Claudia for inviting me to join this blog tour and congratulations Olga on the release of your wonderful pattern!
The dress is a gorgeous, versatile and easy design flattering to any body shape. I made the maxi length, losing the sleeves and making a full lining for the bodice. My favorite feature is the faux wrap bodice, it’s so flattering for a smaller bust and so nicely finished.
I will admit, my version of this dress took me some getting used to. The vintage fabric I used wasn’t something I’d normally work with in its print or drape. However I must say I do love how the final product came out and how beautiful of a dress this wonderful pattern produced.
I can definitely see myself making more different views of this dress in some more stellar textile designs. It’s definitely a pattern that let’s your fabric shine.
Make sure to grab your Madrid Dress pattern and use code MADRIDTOUR for 25% off through Friday June 28th!
Thanks For Reading!

Your Madrid dress is beautiful, and looks beautiful on you as well. I love your version without the sleeves and now may have to make another one.
