Greetings friends! Here today with a special post for you. I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Isa Salazar a textile and stationery designer whose designs are showcased on Hawthorne Fabrics and Terrain/ Anthropologie. Working with her was a real treat and she has some amazing designs in her collection waiting to be seen and worn by the sewing community.
This dress is the great Eilidh Dress by Pipe Dream Patterns in Isa Salazar’s Petals in Agate fabric. I chose it in a jersey knit and whipped up this dress pretty quickly. I had the privilege of testing this pattern and it was such a fun testing experience.
For sizing of my Eilidh Dress I graded from a small to a large at the hip (let me know in the comments if you’d like a simple post on how to do this, it was very easy!) and lengthened the skirt and sleeves by 2 inches. Voila! This gorgeous creation.
The jersey knit is perfect as it has great recovery and is fitting on the body without being tight or revealing in areas. It also took on the print of the design very well. Honestly the Eilidh Dress is secret pajamas and perfect for WFH outfit or lounging fabulously around the house.
Be sure to check out both the pattern and the fabric using the above links!
This post is not sponsored. The above fabric and pattern were provided to me at no cost. Though these items were given to me at no cost, all thoughts and opinions for this post are my own.
