Hello friends! The Deer and Doe Fall and Winter Collection recently released and I had the opportunity to make their Acajou Pants from the collection!
The pants have a cocoon silhouette with seams down the middle front and side pockets and a single pock in the back. I made mine in a olive 21 wale corduroy from Hart’s Fabrics. I sewed up view A which went well with the light weight fabric I chose. I made a size 38 with no alterations or modifications besides the fact that I installed the waistband differently (I did a full waistband installation instead of just attaching it to the pants). The waistband has a flat front and elastic back so even more added comfort and flattery to the backside there.
The pants fit SO comfortably and great. They’re an easy wear and after finishing them I was in them all day and slightly forgot I had them on lol. I paired the pants with a cream rayon/acetate Ogden Cami, tucked slightly in at the waist.
I definitely recommend trying these pants out and making them a staple in your closet, I will definitely be making another pair especially since it’s rare that I find a pair of pants I can make without alterations.

This post was done in exchange for free product. The pattern was provided by Deer & Doe and the fabric was provided by Hart’s Fabrics. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thanks so much for reading!

I love the tank too? Is it a pattern some where?
