Grateful for the hype and the love and the emotional high from the release of the #MahoganyTurban #fcmahogany this month. You all are a fantastic bunch for the support and I couldn't be more grateful.
Yesterday I made a mistake. Like a very simple mistake. If you watched my stories then you know what I did lol. But the mistake wasn't in me not knowing, the mistake was in me not doing the research before undertaking the task of dismantling my whole machine unnecessarily. Don't worry I'm not beating myself up over it, I actually thought it was hilarious but the response I received from about 50 of you via DMs was so validating because most of you said you'd been there too and mightve done the same thing lol. Point is, we all make mistakes. The very strong figurative message in this compilation of me reassembling my sewing machine back together last night is this: anything can be fixed, healed or bounced back from. Resilience is a determination to come back from the past stronger, better and more informed. Whatever that means to you and however that hits, I hope your Wednesday is fantastic 😁
AND WE ARE LIVE!! The Mahogany Turban PDF pattern is UP and available for purchase! LINK IN BIO. Remember for just this month only Mahogany is 50% off so grab it soon!
#memade literally from HEAD to toe today to share some #mahoganyturban love.
That satisfied feeling when the hard work has paid off and the end result can be seen 🙌🏾 Hands in hair syndrome has been driving me crazy so I'm looking forward to introducing you to the Mahogany Turban, my first public PDF pattern which will officially release Tuesday February 9th as the first pattern of the @fibrandclothstudio rebrand 🎉 More info on this lovely on Monday but in the meantime I want to thank YOU my followers for sticking around! We reached 10k last year and I've had so much going on that I haven't had the chance to acknowledge the new faces around here! If you're new here, here are 5 random facts about me:
Janis (my mane) is forever a vibe and a journey and this weekend will be 8 months of being loc'd. I gotta say I've learned so much about my hair through all of this it's crazy, but most importantly I'm learning that what I put inside affects everything outside. Healthy body healthy hair. Lots of lifestyle changes and craziness going on over here that I will soon be blogging about.
